IJoin us for the second round of MUSE:SOUND, a collaborative & improvisational soundscape experience inspired by Euterpe, the Greek Muse of Music—led by musicians Victor Sawyer and Kathy Zhou
We invite musicians, producers, instrumentalists, vocalists, and curious spectators to immerse themselves in the energy of collective sound, shaped in real-time.
The soundscape will begin with a single note from each of the three featured musicians, setting the tone. Attendees are then invited to join in intuitively, adding their own sounds to build evolving layers of collaborative music.

CHARGED UP: Sound Meditation + Collaborative Poetry with Marcella Simien

Frayser Library
Join musician Marcella Simien for a guided meditation that explores and plays with different sounds.
Then, we’ll write poetry, lyrics, associations, or reflections inspired by what we hear.
Afterward, we’ll share our writing and weave it together into a single Collaborative Community Poem.

MUSE MONTHLY CREATIVE GATHERINGS
A monthly sanctuary for creativity, curiosity, and community featuring workshops, guest speakers, performances, dancing, and collaborative art-making—all designed to loosen creative muscles and ignite inspiration. Every second Monday at BAR DKDC starting at 6:30 PM.
