Stage & Sketch

Dixon Gallery and Garden Farnsworth Education Building, 4339 Park Ave
Enjoy an evening of figure drawing the fantastical, the dramatic, and the interesting, co-organized by Shelda Edwards and Lacy Mitcham. Unlike traditional figure sittings, the model will be dressed in performance costume and assume dynamic poses. Please bring your preferred drawing surface (digital or paper) and drawing supplies. Every second Thursday of the month.

More than an exhibition of the Community Bloom Garden, BLOOM is a space where creativity becomes a pathway to healing and everyone is invited to bloom.

Crosstown Arts Monthly Jazz Jam

Come to Crosstown Arts Green Room on Tuesday October 13th to join other Memphis area jazz musicians in their monthly Jazz Jam, this month hosted by trombonist Victor Sawyer. A very short set of the hosting group kicks the night off before opening up to jamming on classic jazz standards. The jazz jam is one of the genres most time honored traditions so come enjoy music as a player or audience member. Hootin’ and hollerin’ encouraged.

Nationally ranked fine arts festival RiverArtsFest is the largest fine art festival in the Mid-South, bringing artists from over 35 states to Riverside Drive in Memphis for two days of art activities, shopping, food and music.
