MUSE Creative Gathering: Artist Speed Date, Vol. 3
How does Artist Speed Date work?
We’ll start with making creative Name Tags from a myriad of art supplies for 5-7 minutes.
We will split the attendees into two groups: The Statues and the Wanderers. The Statues stay seated, and the Wanderers move from table to table.
You will be provided with a list of potential questions/ice breakers to jumpstart the conversations and a sheet to make notes about your meeting.
You will have 7 minutes to meet.
During the 7 minutes, introduce yourselves, show off your work (physically or digitally), talk about your mediums, discuss your projects, pick each other’s brains, ask questions, see how you can help each other on each other’s creative endeavors.
When the bell rings, the Wanderers will move to the next table.
After the Artist Speed Dating rounds are over, mingle with anybody you didn’t have a chance to meet or deepen your connection! Get food or drinks from the bar!
Should I bring anything?
You don’t have to bring anything, but you might want to bring business cards or a way to swap contact information. Feel free to bring your sketchbook, tablet, or any other way you can show off your work!

Any and all creatives who want to find inspiration: visual artists, writers, musicians, crafters, hobbyists, designers, anything and everything under the sun!
I’m kind of shy. What if I can’t think of anything to talk about?
We will provide you with a list of questions to get the conversation flowing. Lots of creatives are shy, so you are not alone!
